On the afternoon of June 23, Vice Minister Jiang Yaoping attended the preparatory working meeting for 2008 China International Consumer Electronics Expo (Hereinafter referred to as “electronic expo”). He listened to the report made by Qingdao Municipal Government and made thorough affirmation for the preparation work. The said Show should be well-held in terms with the principle of specialization, internationalization and marketization. Closely centering on the theme of technology innovation, the platform of the Show should be used for strengthening technological exchange and cooperation, promoting introduction, absorption, and re-innovation of the technique. In consideration of the need of attendees, foreign special channel should be made through with all-out effort, so as to hold a special show with real international impact, for displaying the latest international consumer electronic technique and product and promoting exchange and cooperation of international electronic industry. The relative officials from the Ministry of Information Industry, China Electronic Chamber of Commerce and MOFCOM’s Department of Mechanic, Electronic and Hi-tech Industry attended the meeting. |
